What are the large memory cards for digital cameras called? I need to buy a new digital camera.?

I need to buy a new digital camera that fits the larger SanDisk memory cards (not the small, more common ones) Unfortunately, I can't tell from the ads online what kind of memory cards cameras take. Can someone either tell me what the large memory cards are called so that I can know what to buy or recommend a fairly inexpensive camera that has at least 6-8 mega pixels and zoom capabilities that will fit a card that size?

1. In the camera spec it will say SDHC for the memory card type, if it only says SD then you cannot use the High Capacity cards and your limited to cards of 2Gb or smaller. Chris
2. Why are you buying a camera to fit the memory card? Cards are so inexpensive now, so why not buy the camera you like and then the card that fits the camera.
