Camera New

Do I need a new digital camera or do I have more options?

Well here's the deal. My digital camera will not charge what so ever. I connect it the computer with the USB cord to let it charge and the green light will go on & off I move it a certain way. So I thought, maybe the battery is completly dead, so I brought a new one & the same thing happened. Then I got an outlet charger and plugged it into that, & it still won't charge. Do I need a new camera or is there something else I can do?

1. I would contact the manufacturer first to troubleshoot. If that doesn't fix your problem, I'd buy a new one. You can get a very good camera for a reasonable price nowadays.
2. Try cleaning all the battery contact points with alcohol.
