Camera New

Looking for a new D SLR camera?

I am really looking to getting into using a Digital SLR camera but I need some suggestions for what to buy as a first time D SLR camera. I have had my eye on the Canon EOS Rebel XSi. I'm not crazy about Nikon or Sony but I am open minded. Any suggestions or tips?

1. If you like the Canon, then go for it.
2. i started with the nikon d40 so i would highly recommend that but if you like the Canon EOS Rebel XSi get it
