Camera New

My new camera dropped, and now everything is deleted! How do I find the deleted files?

Our brand new sony video camera dropped, and now the disc wont let us record on it as well as the videos that were there before are gone! What happened, and how do we fix it? The disk has no scratches and appears to be fine, as well as the camera turns on and still records when we put in a new disk. The old disk had precious family memories please help!

1. the same thing happen to my blackberry 8900, all the songs deleted, and all my memory got erased, so did my great photos =(.....never even bothered trying to figure out a way to retrieve my lost info
