Should I reformat my memory to a new camera?

I want to re use my memory card from my old camera to my new camera.

2. if you want to reformat it deletes everything on it
3. u dont have to format ure memory card if u want.... memory cards wil work in a new camera even if u dont format it wen u change the device,, anywyas.. u r changing ure camera to a new one,so if u like, u can start new by formatting it nd then using!!!
