Camera New

Will my inter changeable Zuiko lenses for my Olympus OM1 SLR camera fit a new digital Olympus SLR?

  1. It will with an adapter - Olympus OM MF-1.
  2. As previously noted they will fit with the appropriate adapter. You should be aware that there will be limitations on the metering functions (only certain metering modes will work accurately, you will need to use "stop down" metering and Olympus recommends specific f stop ranges for various OM lenses). The other consideration is that the lenses will provide 2X magnification compared to their 35mm usage. That is because the Olympus DSLR cameras are essentially "half frame" 35mm designs. They will also only be usable in manual focus mode. One of the reasons I have Olympus DSLR cameras is because I can use my legacy OM lenses and Minolta MC/MD Rokkor lenses on the Oly DSLRs. HTH. Email me if you need more details. P.S. You can get adapters for much less money than Olympus charges from third party sources. (I have used both).
