I got a new camcorder and captured some clips but when i publish it on to windows movie maker.....?

I got a new camcorder and made captured some clips but when i publish it on to windows movie maker and when i go on to it in my vidis it is half cut off the screen and its green?

1. Hi there. I haven't experienced this before, but do you have normal Windows Movie Maker or Windows Movie Maker BETA? I suggest you download Windows Movie Maker BETA as it is much easier to use and has better quality. Download it here: http://download.live.com/moviemaker - You just need to click download and go through the questions. It doesn't take long and is worth it. If you already have Windows Movie Maker Beta, then I'm not sure what to suggest. Try checking the settings on your camcorder. Your camera make and model would have helped as to answer this we are just guessing. is you camera a Mini-dv (non HD) media card (SD) Hdd, or mini-dvd the last three the video needs to be converted, to something that WMM will import correctly. with your captured video does it play ok in WMP (windows media player) if it does then maybe its down to a setting or WMM is just messing about. try downloading a free video editing package, most work better then movie maker.
