Upgraded to new digital camera...do I have to remove old program?
I had a Kodak digital camera. Today I upgraded to a new camera which is a different brand. Do I need to save all the old photos from the Kodak program and uninstall the program before I install the new program for the new camera? Will the 2 programs work on the same computer?

- I never had a problem, but I have not uploaded any camera software for a while now... The newer program will probably assign itself as the default program, so if you MUST use the old program to view old pictures, you might have to open that program "manually" from Windows Explorer.
- You should only NEED to install the new program. Especially if you think you will use the old camera from time to time. The computer should recognize your camera when hooked up and ask you what program you want to use to download the pictures. Look down the list provided and choose the program for the new camera, you may wish to also click "always use this program" box so you will not need to answer that question next time and it should auto matically bring the new program up. As for the old program you should be able to leave as is or goto control panel --- uninstall programs and uninstall the Kodak program if you know you won't use it again.
