I have an old Sony Camcorder, model ccd-tr400, which uses Hi8 casettes. I want to upload movies to my new I?

I-Mac. The camcorder has 3 rca type jacks. I am guessing that I will need to buy a cable with the 3 jacks on one end and a usb or firewall connection for the I-Mac, then play the movie into the I-Mac, as I would a TV to watch, or in this case record. Am I correct in this thinking.

1. Firewire or a USB cord (similar to the USB cords that come with normal digital cameras)... if it's not a digital camcorder, it won't work. I have a Sony camcorder at home that is not digital and there is no way I can get it to work with a computer.
